YOUR LAND ROVER JUNIOR DRIVING EXPERIENCE

You will drive a 4x4 Land Rover, Range Rover Evoque off-road under the expert guidance of our professional instructors. A great experience for Under 17 junior drivers.

30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute lessons are available at all our venues.

Whilst it’s fine to just have the one lesson, we have developed a programme of learning opportunities to take you through different off-road scenarios each time you visit. These include:

  • Cockpit drill
  • Steering and braking techniques
  • Reversing and slalom skills
  • Climbing and descending hills
  • Crossing ditches and ridges
  • Driving in ruts, wet grass and mud
  • Water crossings

The skills and techniques you learn as part of our Under 17 junior Start Off-Road experience programme will be an invaluable addition to your knowledge and experience of handling vehicles in general - and it's great fun too.

Learning the rules of off-road driving - with particular emphasis on inspecting your vehicle before and after driving - is good practice for all drivers. Like most things it's not until you experience something that you take it on board and make it part of your everyday activity.

Each student receives a personalised Land Rover Start Off-Road Log Book in which to record progress so that when they come again - to the same venue or another venue - they pick up where they left off.

So it's up to you how many lessons you have and how many off-road scenarios you experience.
